From Denim to Paper: Transforming Textile Scraps

At Crescent Street Design, we believe materials tell stories — and denim paper is one of our favorites.

Made from recycled cotton fibers sourced from discarded jeans and textile waste, denim paper transforms what would have ended up in a landfill into something beautiful and useful. Its soft texture, subtle blue-gray hue, and natural strength make it an elegant alternative to wood pulp paper — and a perfect match for our notecard packaging and softcover notebooks.

This innovative process gives new purpose to leftover denim fabric while conserving resources and reducing landfill waste. Each sheet is a reminder that sustainability can be both refined and creative.

Watch our short video to see how denim waste is turned into paper — and how thoughtful design can help close the loop.
